Conscious Strong™ is teaming up with Michelle Aronson of Farmbelly to teach you how to bring mindfulness into your kitchen and your food!
In this hands-on class, Michelle will teach you how to incorporate mindfulness throughout the entire process of cooking a meal – from sourcing high quality produce, to intentional preparation, cooking, plating, and eating. Lauren will help guide you, throughout the class, to help you use your senses to keep you focused and engaged during the process of preparation and presentation.
You’ll learn key culinary techniques, such as knife skills, that will give you the confidence to cook nourishing meals at home with intention and joy. Together we will make a delicious plant-based meal made from local, seasonal ingredients, which we will enjoy together in an intimate, family-style dinner. Our dinner will include a fresh veggie salad and vinaigrette, edible flower spring rolls with dipping sauce and summer vegetable side, as well as a delicious summer dessert!
About Michelle: Michelle Aronson is a farmer, chef, educator, and owner of the Farmbelly Cooking School. After several years working on small-scale organic farms, she decided to learn her way around a kitchen and attended culinary school at Ballymaloe, a farm-based cooking school in Ireland. Inspired by the incredible teachers, fresh ingredients, and straightforward culinary ethos at Ballymaloe – Michelle returned home excited to teach people how to grow, cook, and eat like farmers. Michelle loves empowering people with the tools + confidence to cook nourishing, seasonal meals through her hands-on cooking classes, educational videos, and simple (but oh so delicious) recipes.
