Join us for this special this very special Conscious Strong™ retreat where we will learn to balance our brains, body and life.
This retreat is more than just a weekend. It is a journey to wellness where you will feel a deeper sense of connectedness to yourself and the world around you. This retreat is designed around the Pilates Method of integrated movement. You will learn to use a mindful method called Meditative Movement Practice that helps to recenter when bad habits negatively affect movements. These principles and foundation movements will be integrated to your daily life… from getting out of bed, to preparing a meal, to shopping in the market.
Leading the retreat is Lauren McClerkin, the Founder of Conscious Strong™, a multi-certified Pilates instructor, and the owner of an award-winning North Carolina fitness studio. She is the mother of 5 beautiful children of her own and a blended family of 9 children with her husband.
Lauren will be joined by a multi-disciplinary panel of guest speakers including Dr. Vera Moura, a mind-body medical practitioner focusing on self-care as a foundational wellness component.
In addition to classes on movement and mindfulness, attendees will also have the unique opportunity to attend a cooking class with the award-winning Sheri Castle, a champagne tasting with Advanced Sommelier Paula De Pano, treatments at the decadent Spa of Fearrington, hosted meals and a welcome cocktail hour.
Included with the retreat is lifetime access to both the CS15 and CS30 online programs so that you can continue your Conscious Strong journey. For those who are not familiar with Conscious Strong, it features a series of online-based programs that incorporate movement, meditation, and journaling into a daily practice. Using these approaches to wellness, you will learn to balance your body, brain, and life.

During her tenure at Eleven Madison Park, she was also part of the service team that was re-awarded four stars by the New York Times, the inaugural 50 Best Ferrari Trento Art of Hospitality Award, and the only restaurant which has won Outstanding Restaurant Service by the James Beard Foundation twice. In 2017, Paula was one of five finalists for The Court of Master Sommeliers’ nationwide Ruinart Challenge.
